Why Join the PTA
Everyone -parents, educators, students and other citizens active in their schools and community – is invited to join our not-for-profit Parent Teacher Association (PTA). The number one reason to join the Parent Teacher Association is to benefit your child. In doing so, you also help your school.
Meetings and Minutes
Board meetings are held monthly, by teleconference or in person at the school. Families do not traditionally attend the monthly board meetings, but are always welcome. Please check the calendar for the next meeting.
The General Membership Meetings occur in the Fall and Spring, and all families are encouraged to attend. Throughout the year, committee meetings, grade-level meetings and volunteer workshops, and budget discussion groups are held in order to do the work of PTA at Lawton.
Minutes for PTA Board and General Meetings are recorded by the Secretary and available upon request.
