Donna and Jenna of Donna’s Barber Shop, with the support of Magnolia Community Support, are launching a community pantry to support families who attend the Seattle Public Schools’ elementary schools during the summer breaks. There are about 40 families who rely on free breakfast and lunch programs throughout the school year, but these programs are not available during school breaks. Donna has been supplying grocery and VISA gift cards for the last few months and recognizes the need to help families is great and very much needed during the school breaks.
