Dear Lawton Community,
It has recently come to our attention that Participate Only submissions on our Dolphin Dreams Direct Drive site were not recorded due to changes in how schoolauction.net (the 3rd party site we use for Direct Drive) stores data. This does not affect submissions for participants who made a financial contribution. While this does not impact the funds we are collecting, it does impact how we track our participation goal across classrooms.
The Ask
For those of you who selected the Participate Only option on the Dolphin Dreams Direct Drive site, we kindly ask that you complete the survey linked to below. This should just take a moment and will ensure that your participation is counted toward your child’s classroom (in support of the potential popsicle party, extra recess, and small prize). Your participation also ensures you will be included in upcoming raffles.

This means that the remainder of the Direct Drive will look a little different going forward.
On the topic of raffles, these are also going to look differently going forward. We will announce the remaining raffle winners on the last day of the Direct Drive. Additionally, there will be a separate raffle for those who previously went to the website and chose ‘Participate Only’. These prizes and prize winners will be announced anonymously.
We have extended the Direct Drive until Wednesday, November 29th. If you are able to donate financially we ask that you check out our website to learn a little more about how your donation helps Lawton and our children. If you are unable to donate financially or your company is doing a full match, please fill out the survey – our goal is 100% participation this year. We can do it Dolphins!
A list of companies who do donation matches can be found on the Direct Drive website. Sometimes these funds come in way after the Direct Drive is over so it is important to still fill out the Google form so you and your child/children’s classroom can be added to the list.
