Looking for a fun, creative outlet for your kids to step away from screens and explore hands-on artistry? Welcome to Petal Thread Studio, a creative space right here in our community dedicated to fashion design, textile art, and nature-inspired making.

(Hi! I’m Amanda Jack, founder of Petal Thread Studio.)

Founded by a Magnolia Elementary parent and fashion creative with over 20 years of design industry experience, our studio offers approachable, inspiring workshops designed to spark imagination and build confidence for all skill levels.

We have some incredibly fun workshops coming up that are perfect for young creators:

1. Kids Fashion Design Workshop

Young designers get to explore fabric, color, and shape as they style and drape playful outfits on mini mannequins. It’s a wonderful, low-pressure, no-sew class that builds personal style and creative confidence! We have 2hr workshop sessions on Thursday 18th and Friday 19th June.

2. Paint Your Own “Dadsquatch” Tee

Just in time for Father’s Day! Kids can hand-paint a friendly, Pacific Northwest-inspired sasquatch design. Their masterpiece is then professionally heat-transferred onto a premium t-shirt, making it the ultimate personalized Father’s Day gift. We have 2 workshops on Saturday 13th June.
