Friday, June 14th is just around the corner and your kid’s favorite event day is coming up – Field Day!
Things to know for Field Day:
- Students will be outside on the playground and upper field for games and fun supervised by staff and PTA volunteers.
- The schedule is K-2nd students from 9-11am and 3rd-5th students from 12:15-2:15pm
- T-shirts will be offered again this year – participation is completely optional, but if you want your child to have a Field Day shirt, please order by May 22. We did experience some difficulties outside our control with our bulk order to school last year (we are still so sorry!), so we have decided to only offer shipping directly to family addresses. The early order deadline ensures delivery of the shirt the week of the event. Consider ordering a larger size than your student currently wears so you can save it for years to come! Colors by grade are indicated on the order website. The PTA needs LOTS of adult helpers that day – please be sure you fill out the SPS volunteer paperwork BEFORE signing up if you’re not already an approved volunteer.
