In-Person Drop-off/Pick-Up Info

April 2nd’s Principal Newsletter details the protocol for in-person drop-off and pick-up! :

New Arrival and Dismissal Procedures

There will be 3 separate entrance points for students:

  • Kindergarten will enter through one downstairs door
  • 1st and 2nd grade will enter thought the other
  • 3-5 will line up on the playground and enter with their teachers when the bell rings

Please Note:

  • Parents and caregivers may not enter the building.
  • Students may arrive on campus without an adult as long as the daily health screening is completed at home.
  • Vehicle drop off will be possible on 27th but please remember that no parking is allowed.
  • If you want to park and walk your student to the line, please leave extra time since street parking in the neighborhood is limited.
  • No entry through the playground off 26th. That gate entry is reserved for Boys& Girls club only.
  • We can not accept late arrivals or release students for early dismissal.
  • All classrooms will be dismissed from the playground.
  • Parents and caregivers may enter the playground at dismissal to meet their students. Students will wait in lines to be released by their teacher.
  • The entire playground needs to be cleared 5 minutes after dismissal so that it can be cleaned. Any students left at that time will be escorted to the office for phone calls home.

Daily Health Screening Requirement

Each family will receive a personalized email for a daily health attestation; these will be sent to the parent email address on file with Seattle Public Schools. You can help things go smoothly by submitting your attestation from home daily before 7am (or as soon as possible but a minimum of one hour before arrival for the PM cohort). This will tell school personnel that your student is cleared to enter the school building.
