This week, students in all grades spent time learning about Veterans Day through activities including read-alouds, letter writing, and poppy art inspired by the poem In Flanders Field by Lieutenant Colonel John McCrae.
Schedule Change – No School Thursday or Friday
There is no school Thursday (planned holiday) or Friday (unplanned school cancellation from SPS) this week. We are looking forward to seeing everyone back on campus Monday!

Other vaccine clinics for students 5-11. SPS selected school-based vaccine clinic sites based on enrollment numbers and equity tier levels. While Lawton was not selected, other regional SPS clinic options are open to Lawton families. Click HERE for more information.
Lawton Covid Update. This week (11/8 – 11/12), Lawton sent one classroom COVID notification.
School Pictures Coming Home
School pictures are coming home today. There is information on how to order inside your envelope. Picture retakes will be Tuesday, November 16th.
