Sun Bucks
- The sun bucks program provides $120 in grocery benefits per eligible child to use over the summer months. Note that SUN bucks expire 4 months after the date of issuance. We encourage families to spend SUN Bucks before other funds like SNAP.
- Most children will be automatically enrolled through free/reduced lunch eligibility at school or participation in assistance programs like SNAP or TANF.
- Sun Bucks cards will be reloaded this year. If families have lost their cards, they should reach out to the SUN Bucks Call Center at 833-543-3230.

Ballard Food Bank Pop-Up Markets
We will be setting up at two community locations on Fridays in July and August where families and students can come by and customize a bag of food for the weekend:
In July, we will be at Queen Anne Elementary from 2:00pm-4:30pm on the following dates:
7/11, 7/18, 7/25, 8/1
In August, we will be at Bitter Lake Community Center from 12:00pm-2:00pm on the following dates:
8/8, 8/15, 8/22, 8/29
Come visit the food bank!
Visit the food bank over the summer. Families can shop at our community market once per week and receive a free meal once per day!
